The types of poems I most enjoy writing are, poems where I get to chose the topic I want to write about. I find it much harder to write on given topics. I think that it is much easier to write a poem when I choose what the topic is going to be, because it gives me much more flexibility when I get to choose the topic. Also I find that I can write much more about topics that come to me, because I usually pick topics that I have a lot to say about. One of the types of poems that I like to write is, snapshot poems. I find them fun to write, because I can take a picture and put it into my own words. It gives me more freedom, because, like people say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and I always have a lot of words to use in a snapshot poem. Another type of poem that I like to write is a truism. Truisms are easy to write and you don't have to say much. That is what I really like about them. Also all you really have to say is something that is true and that makes sense. That's another good part about truisms. Doing found poems is also another one of my favorites. I love cutting out words and making them into poems. Found poems can sometimes though be difficult to do because you sometimes can't find the right words that you need. I also like doing 'I am from, and Ride a Wild Horse' poems. Ride a Shooting Star was one of the poems I wrote. It is a different version of Ride a Wild Horse. What I was trying to say in this poem is, basically, you should do something adventurous in your life before you die. You should do something that is exciting and that people don't regularly do, and something that can be scary but in the end will be worth it.
